Grand Blanc Girls Second Year in a Row at the State Semi Finals

The Lady Bobcats of 2005 will always be remembered as the young and talented team who exceeded everyone's expectations.  They conditioned and trained, laughed and cried as a team.  It was always about "team".  As a team they were:

Big Nine Champions

Big Nine Tournament Champions

Division 1 / District 14 Champions

Division 1 / Region 4 Champions

And, for the second time in school history, they played in the Division 1 State Semi-Finals.   Their record was 16-4-4.  They out scored their opponents 63:11.  Sixteen different players scored goals.  Fifteen different players were credited with assists.  Many players rotated to different positions, and all players saw playing time.  Several players sustained injuries including broken bones, concussions, and sprains.  Through it all, it was always about the "team".
